This is really easy. You just need to memorize the rules, and you're done. Simple. Here are the steps to solving order of operations.
1.) Do the operations in parentheses (brackets) first.
2.) From left to right, do all multiplication and division.
3.) From left to right, do all addition and subtraction.
You must do this in order! Or else...

There is a way to memorize this. It's called "BEDMAS." It's a simple acronym. It stands for Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction.
