Pythagorean Theorem
cool stuff/Pythagorean theorem/
It's a good idea to know geometry & exponents first.
Named after the Greek mathematician, Pythagoras. Choose ANY right-angled triangle and find the length of the hypotenuse, the side of the right-angled triangle which is opposite the right angle, using lengths of the other two sides.
Measure the the perpendicular sides. Name the sides A, B and C. Let's say that side A is 3cm. The other side, side B, measures 4cm. The hypotenuse is side C. I assume that you know geometry and exponents.
How to Find the Hypotenuse
Further Ideas
You can find ANY measurements using this method. It doesn't have to be like the one above. It can be any two sides of the right-angled triangle.
